The new portable LCD TV recently presented by Neovia is called "Ditoy" and incorporates a DVB-T tuner and a DVD drive. The gadget is said to be available at a price of 499 Euro as of now.


The display has a screen size of 7 inches and sports a 16:9 resolution of 480x234 pixels. The contrast is 300:1 and the maximum brightness is specified at 420 cd/m². Alongside its DVB tuner and DVD drive, it also features two speakers with an output of 2.5 Watt each.

The Ditoy can playback DVDs, SVCSs, VCDs, CD-Audio, CD-R, CD-RW and MP3-CDs. Furthermore, it can also display Photo-CDs and JPEG pictures.

At about 900 grams, the Ditoy is a real light weight and hence convenient to transport. As power supply one can either use a car's twelve volts cigarette lighter or internal batteries. The scope of supply also includes a DVB-T antenna and a remote control.
