With their new LX6500 series, LG Korea promises low budget 3D providing uncompromising quality of display even at an entry level pricing. Besides three-dimensional image representation, LG's current LCD series will have modernest LED backlighting, too. The impression gets rounded off with a 240 hertz fast panel, making sure 3D films will have particularly sharp moving pictures.

Externally, the sets score with a slim edge, measuring only 29 millimetres, and due to their built-in DLNA client are able to provide access to the multi media worlds of the internet from domestic surroundings. What looks impressing is the - undoubtedly dynamic - contrast ratio of 8,000,000:1, as stated by LG.

Coming in three different screen sizes of 42, 47 and 55 inch, LG's new LX650 series will be available on the Korean market at possible prices of 1,850,00 Euros to 3,350,00 Euros, which from a Korean customer's point of view may seem relatively attractive. When and at which price LGs new entry level series will be available to us, remains to be unknown.
