extend their portfolio of projectors for professional business and education applications, as well as in the field of cinema and the event sector. Providing WXGA resolution of 1,280 to 800 pixels, the projectors PLC-WM4500L and PLC-WM5500L fully match the trend. In 2009, the company shipped more than twice as many WXGA beamers to the B2B sector than in the year before.
Due to continuously growing demand, figures will further rise in 2010. Major reason of the increase in the WXGA division is the fact that almost all new laptops and computers provide widescreen resolution.
With 4.500 (PLC-WM4500L) and 5.500 (PLC-WM5500L) ANSI lumen, the two new projectors are able to show realistically coloured images with outstanding black level – even under difficult lighting conditions, for example in rooms not dimmable completely. Anorganic LCD panels with a contrast ratio of 800:1 provide pin sharp, high-contrast images. Weighing less than ten kilograms, both projectors are suited for mobile use.
With their picture-in-picture and split screen function, different contents from various connected systems can be presented at the same time. Due to the built-in seven-watt speaker both models possess, there is no need to connect extra loudspeakers. In terms of connectivity, users will be very flexible, as the beamers are equipped with an HDMI interface for digital signals.
