LGs delivery of 15,000 3D televisions to Sky will not take place. According to the company, the press release on this subject was not correct. LG published a clarification one day later.

Although the company is working on equipping clubs and pubs in Great Britain and Ireland with 3D televisions, no indication has been made of how many 3D televisions will actually be set up when the channel is launched. LG is supporting the launch of Sky 3D through the country-wide delivery of 3D televisions and Sky, by contrast is helping its commercial customers to purchase 3D televisions via a third party in Great Britain.
