Those giving presentations today generally have a laptop with them. It is much easier to bring the presentation along on a USB stick. The new Samsung SP-M205W and SP-M255W projectors have an Office & Multimedia Viewer, which displays a large number of formats directly from the USB memory.

The XGA projectors (1,024 x 768 pixels) in the M series are distinguished by their performance, mobility and precision. They are compact and have sufficient brightness for professional presentations in bright rooms with brightness levels of 2,000 ANSI Lumen (SP-M200W/ SP-M205W) and 2,500 ANSI Lumen (SP-M250W/ SP-M255W). The exterior is glossy white and the design is oriented towards representing the presenter well, even for meetings outside of the office.

Those who often use projectors in the office or whilst on the road will value the light weight of just 2.5 Kilograms and a large number of useful additional functions. These include keystone correction, which automatically sets up a rectangular image if the projector has to be set up at a large angle. In addition, the projectors in the M series cool down within seconds and can therefore be packed up again after trhe meeting without a long waiting period.

Whether it is Microsoft Powerpoint, Word or Excel with the integrated Office & Multimedia Viewer in the SP-M205W and SP-M255W, a high-quality presentation with fluid frame changes is possible directly from the USB memory. A file browser with a preview function makes navigation easier and means that presentations can be found quickly. As well as Office (`97 2007), formats such as PDF, Text, Audio (*.mp3, *.wma), Image (*.jpg) and Film (*.avi, *.wmv, *.mp4, *.mpg, *.mpeg) are supported.

The models in the M series also score points with regard to running costs: the lamp only needs to be changed after 5,000 hours and that is especially easy thanks to the practical access from the top. In addition, the models with the Office & Multimedia Viewer also have a network connection so that they can be controlled and monitored centrally via a network connection using management software, which reduces the maintenance outlay for larger projection distances.

The SP-M200W is available from the middle of March from specialised retailers priced at 569 Euro, and the SP-M250W for 599 Euro (recommended retail price including VAT). The SP-M205W and SP-M255W with integrated Office Viewer and network connection will be introduced in Germany at the end of April.
