The NEC MD213MG offers UA-SFT (IPS) panel technology in the successor to the NEC MD21GS-3MP and the new model is ideal for application in PACS systems for diagnosis by trained medical staff. Thanks to the high DICOM display precision, the NEC LC display is suitable for initial appraisals in radiology or in the area of computer and magnetic resonance imaging as well as for recording of Positron Emission Topography (PET) in nuclear medicine.
The NEC MD213MG achieves a maximum native brightness of up to 1450 cd/m2 recommended: 400 cd/m2 after calibration).The NEC MD213MG can be turned and tilted and can also be adjusted up to 150 mm in height. A high-quality UA-SFT (IPS) panel supports the precise display of even the finest details on the NEC MD213MG because of the outstanding black value and a native resolution of 2048 x 1536 die.

Overall, the MD213MG is aimed at making it easier for users to handle screen systems. Thus, the NEC MD213MG is equipped with digital uniform control (DUC). In addition, an integrated sensor located directly on the screen surface measures brightness values and DICOM conformity from the perspective of the viewer. The low-maintenance front sensor is easier to use than an additional external sensor and even allows for remote controlled conformity tests.
With these features, the NEC MD213MG meets all quality standards for diagnosis screens, such as DIN V6868-57 Category A or AAPM-TG18 Primary Class. Furthermore, it is in line with the EU guideline MDD 93/42/EC for medical devices.
