REVIEW: Dell 2007WFP Part 4

One can clearly notice the VESA100 screw connection and the button for releasing the snap lock.

Once the stand is removed, any kind of mounting that is compliant with the VESA100 standard can be attached to the panel casing of the Dell 2007WFP.

For the most part, the stand is made from aluminum and attests to very good workmanship. All edges are cleanly cut; there are no sharp-edged spots. The entire stand conveys an impression of high quality.

The large stand accounts for the very good standing stability of the monitor. A toppling over the display is thereby virtually impossible.

The stand of the Dell 2007WFP comes with a simple yet useful cable duct. There is a rectangular-shaped hole in the lower part of the arm, by means of which cables can be routed through without any trouble.

The fabrication quality of our review unit was very good. All parts of the casing are crafted to fit onto one another exactly. We didn't hear any creaking or cracking sounds during the course of our review.

The Power LED and the status indicator for the signal inputs decently illuminate green. When the display enters standby mode, the color of the light changes to a decent orange. Thus, even with dark ambient lighting, the status indicators won't become an annoyance.
